Foxhall Dental Center Celebrates 2-Year Anniversary

Hi there and welcome!

I’m Dr. Charles White, the proud Owner/Dentist of Foxhall Dental Center, a boutique general and cosmetic practice in Washington, DC. As we celebrate our two-year anniversary, I want to share my journey, deeply rooted in passion, community, and a lifelong commitment to bringing humanity to healthcare.

Born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan, I knew I wanted to be a dentist from the age of 12. This early interest guided me through my studies at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, where I earned both my undergraduate and dental degrees. In 2022, my career reached a significant milestone when I became the owner of Foxhall Dental Center.

Our Mission: Compassionate, High-Quality Dental Care

As a Black dentist, I am proud to be part of the 3.8% of U.S. dentists who are Black, highlighting the need for diversity in our field. Our diverse team at Foxhall Dental Center reflects our community and our commitment to inclusive, empathetic care.

Owning Foxhall Dental Center has allowed me to realize my dream of creating a space where high-quality care is delivered with empathy and kindness. Our vision extends beyond treating dental issues; it’s about how we care for our patients and our team. We go the extra mile, whether it’s calling patients in the evening to check on their recovery, personally delivering medication in emergencies, or ensuring that our phone is answered on the first ring.

Art and Science in Dentistry

My appreciation for both art and science comes together in my dental practice. I love all aspects of dentistry, especially cosmetics. Dentistry is about more than fixing teeth; it’s the art of sculpting the perfect shape and selecting the right color to match a patient's natural smile. It also involves the science of using advanced techniques and materials to ensure everything is strong, durable, and functions perfectly. Our detailed treatment plans are carried out flawlessly to achieve the best results for our patients.

Commitment to the Community

Beyond the walls of Foxhall Dental Center, I am deeply committed to our community. We are the pro bono dental provider for Hostage US, treating those who come home following illegal detainment abroad. I’m also a proud supporter of the Sasha Bruce House, having donated 1,000 dental hygiene kits to support their residents. Additionally, we support Georgetown’s Lombardi Center, America’s ToothFairy, and local schools through career day programs.

I also enjoy playing the keyboard at local hotspots in the DMV area, such as the 9:30 Club, Kennedy Center, and Howard Theatre, and spending time with my wife, family, and friends.
